About Me

My background

I was a music, theater, and culinary arts teacher for 15 years at a small private school in Southern California. During a music class, I had a funny interaction with a student which became the inspiration for my first book. I wrote my first book in June of 2019. My second and third books were written by the end of that year and I published my first two books in November of 2020. In 2022 my husband and I decided to retire early and travel the world for two years. Through those travels, I have so many more book ideas that I can't wait to put on paper. After coming back to the US, I decided that I wanted to teach again and we settled in the mountains in Arizona. In 2024 I published my first bilingual book based on a city we had previously visited in Romania, and in the summer of 2025 toured Romania. You can find the English/Romanian version of "Who Dries These Sad Eyes?" on Amazon and in stores in Romania.

I have also started teaching piano and flute again as well as branching out to offering editing and publishing services. Check out the pages on this site for answers to any questions you might have, or feel free to message or email me.
